A practical starting point

Keep an object’s record together.

  1. Add an object or edit the clearly marked fictional example.
  2. Enter only what you know. Leave an unknown date or dimension blank.
  3. Attach an original file, then link it to a history entry or evidence check.
  4. Record amounts with their classification, currency, date and source.
  5. Save in this browser. Download a full private backup to keep a separate copy.
  6. Select an object and any optional history, amounts or originals. Review the handoff before downloading its ZIP.

Reviewed is not the same as proved

A check marked as requiring evidence is complete only when it is reviewed and has a linked original. An optional check needs review alone. The status records your process; it does not assess the document’s authenticity.

Local saving and recovery

Browser data can be cleared. Keep a full private backup somewhere appropriate. Restoring replaces the entire in-memory collection after confirmation; Save is a separate step. Another tab’s newer save blocks a stale overwrite.

Originals in a handoff

All files start unselected, including purchase documents. Selecting an original includes its filename and unchanged contents. Review documents for personal information before sharing. The tool downloads a package; it does not send it.
